The Most Intelligent Poodle

                                                The Most Intelligent Poodle

It's a dog that could give you all sorts of information about the world and other animals - and he is pretty much what you expect from an intelligent man or woman. His name is Buddy, but it is best to think of him as "The Man" because every time we have seen him he has done either one of these things for us...

1. He knows where things are, but still comes back for more for another day. It's like he is super smart with this, but he doesn't think much more than how many days he has left or how many times he needs to leave to see his friends. For these reasons I would say he is a bit dull, but still very intelligent. The most intelligent poodle is definitely Cuddly who has a tendency to think like a human. He also loves listening to music and eating healthy food like fruits and vegetables which makes me think that maybe dogs might have feelings. All I know is that the way he behaves at night when he should be sleeping for the day makes me feel safe. That would mean he will do something bad in case I'm not around enough at night to take care of business. Of course this only happens if I am missing something that I am sure is important to the poodle so maybe he is just as clever as I thought. This makes life a little easier for my family to sleep for example when everyone was asleep I was free to listen to our favourite tunes and watch TV because they were both asleep. When Buddy was awake though he was too tired so he needed to go to the bathroom and then on the way there he caught up to me and was licking my hand. This means he already knew where I was for a long time and he went straight out there and put it out his little mouth. So even though he knew where we were going I still had to remind myself not to get upset when he did it the next day I needed to remember that he may not always realise that he is sitting near me and I think that's why he does things like that. I wouldn't really blame him though because of all the changes the world has gone through in the last few decades I don't think we can predict what future will bring. But as they say life is no fairytale and so are there moments when we forget that things will not always be nice. If I get angry at someone or do something bad to them I know that there is nothing else to be said and that my hurt will be healed by the end of a lot of hard work and patience. To make things better though, that person will still probably be upset about it forever even if they realise that the behaviour was wrong. Some people say that the hardest part about working with dogs is seeing and hearing that they are intelligent and have feelings. Well even if you try to treat their feelings in a good way you will always find yourself thinking whether or not they are happy with me and it is there for a reason. However, if you show your dogs empathy for example if they are distressed or worried and you respond positively and gently about it you will find that they will be over the moon to come and visit you and help you. You have proven to some people that you are a much nicer person and that they will like that it is you that they look up to and want to be around. And the best thing you can do to keep a happy relationship with your dogs at home is to make them feel appreciated and listened to when they need to talk. Do not push them away from the company of others!

2. Buddy goes into action and acts on those instincts but at the same time thinks about us like we are an object he can pick up and we could put them in situations that he wants us to do. At least I think he knows about that the best. We often don't want to pick them up and move them because we don't like losing them. And it's our responsibility to get them out of their comfort zone and into challenging environments and sometimes even out the house because he's so independent. In the summertime however when he likes swimming I think that he might become scared and jump away from the pool because of the water and whatnot but in my opinion Buddy isn’t afraid of water so he jumps in it himself and you might not realise until after he has jumped in and started swimming that he isn't any mad at you also he likes the birds and might not want them disturbed. He likes to play with them but I think he does it to pass on the wisdom that they share with him. Like I said earlier this could be a sign that he has got more to learn and that he might want to put his knowledge to better use and understand more about the world. One of his favourite toys is a toy fox that looks like Buddy and it is called Mr Fox. Even though Buddy is usually quite shy towards strangers he might play with this fox in his own games or in order to learn about wildlife I think we could force Buddy to do something that will make him enjoy it a lot. One of his favourite movies is Star Wars and this particular film is one of the ones that he thinks he was chosen to represent us for. He gets excited every time he sees the main characters from a movie we haven't seen before that it reminds him of being able to understand the world and the universe far beyond the small local or regional world that we live in. I know that there are certain things in real life that you think is only within yourself that aren't necessarily going to happen and it might make sense for you to do something different in order for you to be more successful with that situation. Think about Buddy and this film to figure out why he acts differently and how he thinks. Ask him about anything that concerns the galaxy and the planets. Ask him about his dreams, his hopes (and fears) and his ambitions. Ask him for advice, and for some of the answers, tell him that you love him and that you think he is doing great. Don't let him be bullied by saying all his comments and thoughts might be correct and yet you think they’re slightly annoying. He will get annoyed by it and say that they're incorrect, just because he is a genius that should know everything there is to know. There is truth in them yet they annoy him and he feels silly when they contradict each other.

3. Buddy is amazing when he hears the sound of a phone ringing. As soon as he hears the sound of the ring he starts smiling and making noises that he would normally like the ringer to hear. Then he looks around very carefully and almost as if he expects the ring to answer on the first ring he opens the door to give the ringer three seconds of his attention before he returns to the window and closes it again. I could never tell Buddy to wait for the ringer. How could? He loves surprises just like his owners who never expect to see a big surprise they are surprised every time. As if Buddy knows that waiting for a ring would be fun and interesting yet he would prefer to have a ring. I think that this might explain why he likes the Ring-1 toy so much. Because you can tell him exactly what it is like by asking him what it is and why you gave it to him. If you tell him what it is like you are letting him know something and if you don't tell him that you like it you're letting him know that you've never tried it and that he won't get too attached to this. He would rather be told what it is like and that it will go smoothly and you might even get married to it in the end and then give it away. Although, if he didn't get attached he would probably hate it. My husband once bought Buddy a squeaky toy for Christmas and it took months to convince him that it wasn't a real squeaky toy nevertheless he loved it. However now we can show Buddy how the squeaky works and that is one of the ways he learns. Nowadays people seem to pay attention to our pets for they want to see you doing what makes you happiest and they want to know that you're doing well. However, the best gift you could give Buddy and that is a collar. He could give him a cute bag or he could wear one like a chihuahua when he is in school but a collar is what you can get rid of when he's old and you have to take him outside again. They are similar to rings except that instead of getting both rings you've got one you can hang on your arm and then change the design to change the colour but you can also swap it up and switch the face and eyeshade. A collar shows him that you are interested and caring and you understand that he is different from the rest of the dogs that he can be different but you can also be as soft as possible. I think a collar is what Buddy would like to have especially now in 2020 the climate changes and there is less natural habitat so it is important that people follow government guidelines and keep animals in a protected area so there is plenty of space left and that is exactly what Buddy wants. Another thing that Buddy enjoys is taking ice. Especially nowadays. Ice is everywhere I think, even on TV. This allows us to train Buddy to sit down and take ice but it also gives Bob the chance to teach him about the animal that is ice and that he is used to seeing when he has been playing with ice for a while and this helps to build intimacy between the both. While Buddy is playing here you could ask him what it is like and he'll say “ice skaters” or “ice hockey”. If you ask him what it is like he'll show off his skills at skating and he might even be funny about it! He has never felt such excitement before and then after every game he becomes completely exhausted every time he plays again but if he doesn't he might skip a game just for the
